Enjoy the Garden’s most fruitful season with this tasty festival! Many of the world’s favorite fruits have subtropical or tropical origins. Our climate in Southwest Florida is well-suited for growing these sweet treats, and at the Garden, you can find fruiting plants growing in nearly all of our designed landscapes.
Sample tropical fruits from around the world, discover fruiting plants grown in the Garden, watch live demonstrations, and take a fruit-themed tour. Enjoy Fogg Café specials such as jackfruit tacos, mango agua fresca, and pineapple Buzz Bars as well as paletas from Taco Tummy—while supplies last. Fruit tasting will begin at 9am in Kapnick Hall.
Starting at 8:30am on the Kapnick Caribbean Garden lawn, purchase your very own flat-leaved vanilla orchid (Vanilla planifolia ‘Painter’). Act fast—they will sell out!
