Spotlight Exhibition in Fogg Café
With a desire to capture beauty in wildness, Naples-based artist Sara Abalan’s work is a viscerally authentic representation of her surrounding environment. Her time spent immersed in the Garden’s natural spaces is beautifully reflected in the subject, shapes, and colors of this spotlight exhibition in Fogg Café.

About the Artist
Born in Massachusetts and destined to be an artist from a young age, Sara Abalan took inspiration from her parents who informed her love of microscopic imagery and profound appreciation of nature. She spent 15 years as a magazine art director and illustrator and later moved to New York City, where she studied at the New York Studio School and maintained studios in Tribeca and SoHo. Her career is now entirely dedicated to the production of fine art. Abalan lives and works in Naples, Florida.
