About the Tours

Highlights of the Garden: Discover the beauty of the cultivated gardens, learn highlights of our history and conservation efforts, and immerse yourself in landscape design in this guided journey through Naples Botanical Garden.

Native Plants & Habitats: Naples Botanical Garden is the ideal place for people to learn about native Florida ecosystems and best practices for conservation. Learn about the habitats and wildlife in the Preserve on this guided walk.

Palms & Cycads: Palms and cycads are more than just popular landscaping plants in tropical communities. These plants have intrinsic value in their native ecosystems. Unfortunately, many palms and cycads are endangered due to habitat loss. Join us to spot the difference between palms and cycads while learning about conservation efforts for these plants.

Orchids & Epiphytes: Naples Botanical Garden has a great variety of orchids and epiphytes growing throughout the gardens. Join us on a guided journey to look up, down, and all around at these plants that may be hiding in plain sight!

Plant to Plate: Join us to learn about just a few of the hundreds of edible plants in the Garden’s collection. While the Garden does not permit eating any plants during your visit, this guided tour will help you gain an appreciation for the plants often found on your plates.

Here and Now: On this tour, we’ll practice mindfully observing plant characteristics while engaging your curiosity to better appreciate the beauty and importance of plants.

Cacti & Succulents: Discover the vast and surprising world of cacti and succulents. More than sharp spines, these plants have spent thousands of years adapting to the driest climates on the planet.

Pollinators & Plants: Discover the world of pollinators, big and small. From bees to bats to snails, you’ll gain insight into the irresistible lures plants have developed to pique a pollinator’s interest; thus, ensuring each party’s survival.
