Event Description
Experience the wild migratory birds of the Garden! In this two-part workshop, you will be led by knowledgeable birding volunteers at the Garden on a tour through to the James and Linda White Birding Tower. At 10am, the group will move to Kapnick Hall for a classroom presentation to recap their tour sightings. Arthur Sissman will discuss birding “tools of the trade” and bird identification including field marks, voice, behavior, and more. Sissman is a prime mover in Collier County for birdists. He has been an avid birdwatcher in Collier and Lee counties for 20 years and has led tours for local, national, and international visitors to Southwest Florida.
