The band’s name and spirit were derived from the popular phrase “…out of the woodwork”, paying homage to the mystery and creation witnessed in the natural world. All of their sounds are created with a combination of woods, metals, skins, bones and voices.
The Woodwork is composed of Taylor Freydberg (guitar, vocals), Christina Ortega (vocals), Julio Pintos (upright bass) and Mayo Coates (percussion).
