Join us for a unique Garden tour just for Members!
Tours last between 60-90 minutes, and are limited to 12 participants. To allow as many of our Members as possible to experience a tour, we limit each membership household to one tour per series.
Member Insider Tours are free, but advanced registration is required. Walk-ups will not be admitted for these tours.Tours will be held rain or shine. Tour dates will not be rescheduled.
All tours require walking; please wear appropriate clothing. Water is provided at the beginning of the tour, but Members are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle. Members are also encouraged to bring bug spray.
Sunset Hike
Explore the Garden like you never have before: in the dark. On this guided hike, we’ll take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the Garden as the landscape transforms from day to night. We’ll view sunset over the Preserve, let our eyes get adjusted to the night, and then head into the uplands habitat to learn more about nocturnal life in the Garden.
Participants should be prepared to walk about 1.5 miles on uneven ground in the dark. Flashlights are helpful for navigating the parking lot, but flashlights will not be used during the hike.
