Is your turf tired? Plants looking poorly? Are you ready for an easy-on-the-eyes-and-wallet landscape do-over? Attend a Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ (FFL) for Homeowners workshop to learn the University of Florida’s powerful principles for healthy landscapes. You’ll gain recommendations for transforming your yard into a healthy, award-winning Florida-Friendly landscape. Whether your landscape is measured in square feet or acres, homeowners will gain time-and-money-saving tips. Applying UF’s time-and-money-saving tips can enable you and your landscape to enjoy the natural South Florida environment we call home.

Isabel C. Way is the Florida Yards and Neighborhoods and Master Gardener Coordinator at the University of Florida IFAS extension office in Collier County, and joined their team in July 2013. Mrs. Way is responsible for training the Collier County Master Gardeners; promote Florida Friendly Landscaping™ (FFL) practices in order to protect natural resources and reduce nonpoint sources of pollution through education, training, outreach and partnerships, and encourage sustainable landscaping through the Florida Friendly Landscaping™ yard recognition Program, as well as designing and delivering presentations and trainings that promote sustainable landscaping practices.
Registration for Lifelong Learning programs can be completed in these ways:

- Register by email LLL@naplesgarden.org during non-business hours by leaving contact information and the program(s) of interest and someone will return your call within 2 business days
Registration is complete when payment is received. Certain programs fill up quickly and we accept registration on a first come, first served basis. Register early to ensure your program is not cancelled due to low enrollment. If a cancellation is required a refund will be issued.
