Event Description
You may have noticed red tags at the base of some of the plants. These tags indicate plants that have been assessed and identified as imperiled by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List authorities. The Red List is a global effort to identify and protect threatened species around the globe. Join Britt Patterson-Weber, Director of Education & Visitor Experience, for an informative tour highlighting these threatened species and the role of the Garden in protecting biodiversity inside and outside of the Garden.
Members are encouraged to wear attire for walking, bring a bottle of water, and bug repellent. Members-only tours are free, but advanced registration is required.
This Member Insider Tour is at capacity. We apologize for any inconvenience. New Member Insider Tours dates will announced for October – December later this summer. Please visit the Member Events webpage regularly for updates – naplesgarden.org/memberevents.
