Experience the Garden in a new way with Liz Chehayl, Curator of Collections. Liz will show examples of flowers that delight the sense of smell – and perhaps some that don’t – and explain how and why they behave that way. Learn about the different pollinators of these flowers, including those that visit in the Garden and those that co-evolved with the plants in their homeland. The program will conclude with a tour of the Garden to see and smell what is in bloom.
- Wednesday, February 28
- 6-8pm, FGCU Kapnick Center room 126 at Naples Botanical Garden
- $15 Members / $20 Non-Members (limit 20)
Liz Chehayl is the Brian Holley Curator of Collections at Naples Botanical Garden. She has degrees from Washington University and MIT, and is a Florida Certified Horticultural Professional. Although she is a lifelong plant enthusiast, her interest in tropical plants dates to 2002 when she moved to Naples and began volunteering at Naples Botanical Garden.
