Join in on the fun of garden crafting! From wreath-making to kokedama, this social, relaxed gathering of creatives will inspire and empower you to stretch your fairy wings and embark on new artistic endeavors. While the Garden will provide a plethora of plant material and crafting supplies, participants are encouraged to bring their own materials as well. Grab that old terrarium or crazy-looking seed pod and get crafting!

Andrea Grace joined Naples Botanical Garden as the Adult Education Manager in October of 2014. She began her studies at Kansas State University from 2000-2003 where she was inspired by the flint hills to continue her education with plants and environmental issues. After leaving K-State, she traveled the East coast working on vegetable farms, and then took a few years off to be a stay-at-home mom. After relocating to Florida in 2009, she went back to school and graduated from FGCU with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Biology and Interdisciplinary Studies. She has a passion for interesting garden crafts, creative cooking, food production, and permaculture design. These skills are put to use on a daily basis at her home in Fort Myers.
Taylor Burnham is the Buehler Enabling Garden Coordinator, providing therapeutic horticulture programs to individuals living with special needs. She uses plants to empower others to grow in their cognitive, emotional, social, and physical wellness, and is currently working towards becoming a registered horticultural therapist (HTR). Taylor earned her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Community Art (’13) and an M.A. in Intercultural Studies and Missions from Wheaton College (’14). Through various summer internships in the Education department at the Garden, Taylor discovered the perfect outlet in which to fuse her passions for creativity, nature, and meeting community needs. She enjoys art, traveling, and collecting miniatures in her free time.
