Experience the peacefulness and fun of the Garden with disturbances minimized. An air-conditioned take-a-break space will be provided, as well as hands-on activities for the whole family! Free admission applies between 4 – 6pm only.

To coincide with the January 18th Sensory-Friendly Saturday, the Garden is proud to host the 2024 – 2025 Additional Needs Art Contest Reception & Awards from 4 – 6pm in partnership with Additional Needs, Inc. The reception will feature artwork from five different age groups, spanning from 5 years old (Kindergarten) to adults (over 18) with additional needs. During the event, the winners of the “Celebration of Creation” contest will be announced. In addition to partnering with Additional Needs, Inc, the Garden is delighted to welcome the several local service organizations who will be participating in the event.
The mission of Additional Needs is to transform societal perspectives on disability and special needs, using the term “additional needs,” and to offer convenient access to valuable resources and tools.
