Have you ever seen a beautiful flower or fern frond so striking you wanted to frame it? Here is your opportunity to learn ways to preserve your favorite plant and show it off at home using herbarium methods. Materials are supplied. Other art forms will be exhibited. Don’t miss out!

Jean Roche is passionate about botany. She has more than 25 years of experience learning about and working with native plants during University courses with Dr. George Wilder, including assistant teaching, research, and herbarium work. She has also been on the Boards of the NE Ohio Native Plant Society and the Naples Chapter, Florida Native Plant Society for a total of almost 20 years. After moving to Naples, she worked with several non-profit organizations in the area of membership development. Jean is presently a consultant on membership matters and volunteers with Dr. George Wilder in the herbarium at Naples Botanical Garden.
