Draw Together! Creative Arts Workshop for Families

Combine the beauty of nature with the joy of artistic expression in this 90-minute creative arts program for families! Children accompanied by an adult can explore the vibrant colors and textures of pastel art while surrounded by the Garden’s lush landscapes. This hands-on experience is a chance for families to create art together and learn the basics of pastel techniques as well as key elements of art such as line and shape. This program includes a tour of the Garden to gather inspiration and knowledge of plants in our collection, followed with guided activities and creative exercises.

No previous art experience is necessary, and all materials are provided—just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm! Participants ages 8-12 and their adult guardian can register in advance and each participant will take home a completed pastel piece.

Fee: $40 combo ticket for Members / $60 combo ticket for Non-Members (includes admission and supplies for one adult and one child.)

Add Ons (includes admission and supplies for each additional selection, a combo ticket must be selected first to add on additional ticketed participants. A maximum of 3 additional children’s tickets can be added to any 1 combo ticket.):

$30 additional Member adult / $45 additional Non-Member adult

$10 additional Member child / $15 additional Non-Member child

Capacity: Minimum 8, maximum 16. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult for the duration of the program; all children and adults must have purchased a ticket for this program to attend. Adults can register up to 4 children.
