Our planet is experiencing a rapid and intense change in climate which impacts all life on Earth. This juried exhibition features artworks created by members of The Batik Guild. The group of international artists created work that visualizes environmental changes experienced or observed in their personal lives; inspiring change and rousing hope in our communities. 

Included with Garden admission; free for Members. Every Garden admission ticket or membership purchase helps to support Naples Botanical Garden’s conservation efforts.


Meet the Artist & Live Demonstrations:

Join one of the 25 exhibiting artists inside Kapnick Hall to ask questions and engage in conversation while they demonstrate the centuries-old wax-resist dyeing technique known as batik.

This relaxed drop-in opportunity is included with Garden admission; no registration is required.

Founded in 1986, the United Kingdom-based nonprofit organization, Batik Guild, is comprised of nearly 200 members globally. Encouraging a wider appreciation and understanding of batik as a centuries-old craft, they continue to meet the needs of artists working today, whether amateur, emerging, or professional
